Management Day 2021

The department of Business management (MBA &BBA) celebrating Management day on 22nd feb 2021. In this regard the department conducted interdepartmental competitions for UG students.
There were 128 registrations for various events.
Logo quiz - Where the students have to identify the logo of the brand companies. Based on the logo they have to give its tagline or Slogans to test their brand awareness and marketing aptitude. 38 students participated in the event. Conducted by Anika
Brand U - Where the students have to take a selfie with a prop to and talk about them brand themselves .13 students participated in the event. Conducted by Mrs.P.Suhasini.

KRTYA Management Meet - 2020

The Department of MBA organized an intercollegiate Management Meet – Krtya 2020 on March 4th 2020 on the theme “Disruptive Technologies in Startups”. The chief guest of the event was Prof.R.Nageshwar Rao, Head, Department of Business Management and the Guest of Honor was Prof.C.Sree Ramulu, Chairman, Board of Studies, Osmania University and the key note address was delivered by Mr.Mahesh CV, CEO, Orbit Shifters. The inaugural was followed by various formal events namely Smart CEO, Young Manager, Finante, Ensemblz & Marketing & various informal events…


KRTYA Management Meet - 2019

The students of St.Pious X P.G.(MBA) college for women organized a state level “Management Meet” “KRtya2019” on the theme “ SOCIAL ENTERPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION”, on 29TH March 2019. The event was aimed to foster innovation by encouraging student entrepreneurs. A total of 187 participants from 21 colleges have participated in various formal and informal events.

The Chief Guest of the of the event were Mr. Prashant Lingam –Co Founder Bamboo house a social entrepreneur. Rev.Sr.Velangini Director, Prof.K.Kalidas Principal of the college also shared the dais. Delivering the Key note address the Chief Guest expressed the need for social entrepreneurs especially in a country like India to solve social problems.

The Key event of the Meet was “Business plan league competition” where the students were encouraged with their innovative ideas for start-ups through their Business plan on the theme “Social Entrepreneurship”. 15 teams presented their ideas. The event was judged by Mrs, Samidha Garud, Co founder Kaneria Software and Mr.Srikanth Nimmagadda Co Founder “mypiin.com”.

The second session of the meet has started with the first rounds of formal events which followed by the informal events and subsequent rounds of formal events.

The day has come to an end with the valedictory session where the winners of all the formal events were given cash awards which was followed by a presentation of valedictory report by Prof.K.Kalidas Principal of MBA and vote of thanks by Mrs.C.Latha –HOD –Department

Inter collegiate competition on the theme “Eradicate corruption- Build a new India”

The students of St.Pious X P.G.(MBA) college for women organized an Inter collegiate competition on the theme “Eradicate corruption- Build a new India”In collaboration with Power Grid Corporation of India Limited ,on 2nd November 2018. of the vision of the Government of India to make a New India by the Year 2022, which the 75th anniversary of our independence, the Central Vigilance Commission, as the apex integrity institution of the country, endeavours to promote integrity, transparency and accountability in public life. The commission has decided that this year the vigilance awareness week would be observed from 29th October to 3rd November, 2018

St.Pious X P.G(MBA) College for women, Nacharam, in Collaboration with the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, conducted the Inter-collegaite Competition on the theme “Eradicate corruption- Build a new India” and 2nd November -2018 .The competitions included Elocution, Debate and Essay writing on the eradication of corruption. .

Shri K.V.Joseph General Manager Vigilance dept.Power Grid was the Chief guest.Shri D.V. Ramana Sr.Manager Power Grid was the guest of honour. Rev.Sr.Japamala correspondant,Rev.Sr.Velangini , Prof K Kalidas Principal MBA college , Prof Pardhasarathi and Mrs.C.Latha HOD and coordinator, of the attended the event .

More than 100 students from different colleges participated in the competition. The program started with prayer and reading from holy scriptures. Mr. K.V.Joseph General Manager Vigilance dept.Power Grid addressed the students to make the country corruption free.

The Winners were awarded with cash prizes and all the participants received participation certificates. The event has come to an end with singing National Anthem.

KRTYA Management Meet - 2018

The students of St.Pious X P.G.(MBA) college for women organized a State Level “Management Meet” “KRtya2018” on the theme “INNOVATION AND BEYOND...”, on 18th of April 2018. This event was aimed at fostering innovation by encouraging student entrepreneurs. A total of 287 participants from 30 colleges have participated in various formal and informal events.

The Chief Guest of the of the event was Mr. Ravi Teja Jallepalli –CEO-Goli Soda, and Vijaya Kumar-Lead Bala vikas international .

The Key event of the Meet was “Product Presentation”where the students were encouraged to come out with their innovative ideas for start-ups through product presentation- a working model with their unique features to scale it on the business floor. The event was judged by Mr.Ravi Teja Jallepalli, Mr. Ravikumar and Mr.Thalla.veerendranath.

The second session of the meet has started with the first rounds of formal events which followed by the informal events and subsequent rounds of formal events .

The day has come to an end with the valedictory session where the winners of all the formal events were given cash awards which was followed by a presentation of valedictory report by Mrs.C.Latha –HOD –Department of MBA and vote of thanks by the II year students of MBA.

Two Day National Seminar: Startup Ecosystem - Opportunities and Challenges

The department of Business Management, organized Two-Day Naional Seminar on “Startup Ecosystem: Opportunities & Challenges" on March 15th and 16sup 2018. under the able guidance of the College Management. The Two Day Seminar was attended by more than 200 participants which included Faculty of Affiliated Colleges, Research Schlars and Students. The Seminar was inaugurated by the hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. S. Ramachandram alogwith Rev. Sister Japamala, Correspondant and Rev. Sister Velangini, Principal, St. Pious X Degree & P.G. College and Prof.K. Kalidas, Principal of St. Pious X MBA College for Women. The other dignitaries for the inaugural function include Mr.Mihir Paryal. Director ATI, Mr. T. Suresh, Founder Technies Nest, Mr. T. Veerendranath,Cofounder, Techies Nest, Mr. Ramesh Veuganti.Mr. Hafees Basha and Dr Mohd. Rafi .

Inaugurating the seminar Prof. Ramachandra, Vice chancellor, appreciated the college for choosing the apt topic and advised the collelge to conduct series of activities to frunctify the substratum of the seminar.

Prof. K. Kalidas, Convener presented his detailed report on the Two Day seminar highlighting its purpose, scope and possible endeavour. Mr. Tanneru Suresh delivering his key note address stated that the future of India is in the hands of 75 crore young populaion whoare under the age of 25 years. Innovation & entrepreneruiship is the only solution for the current and the future.

The seminar was spread into four technical tracks. Around 24 papers were presented on the various themes and subthemes of the seminar. The participants were happy with the presentations and deliberations. The seminar finlly passed major resolutions on the Startup Ecosystem – Opportunities and Challenges for furthering the activities/events by the college and also to the benefit of faculty and research scholars.

The Velidictory address was given by Prof. Gopal Reddy, Ch. Registrar, O.U.. The Seminar proceedings were declared closed with vote of thanks by Prof. K. K . Kalidas.convener.
