Department of Sanskrit is repository of invaluable knowledge of Ancient Indian Heritage and texts. Sanskrit texts, bridge the gap between the past and the future through the present. The department through its committed efforts achieved a pass percentage of 99% with highest mark of 99% by conducting Unit Tests, Quarterly Exams and Pre-final for the students. Besides academics the department also strives in conducting competitions in Quiz, Debates, Sloka Recitation and Sanskrit News reading by which subject confidence among students is promoted. Students are also encouraged to participate in Intercollegiate Competitions. Student’s class projects are also encouraged. Department is providing a library of 2500 Books. Students are motivated by means of CAMTASIA, and Power Point Presentations.
In our department, teaching is not only a profession but a passion. It has an outstanding academic track record of securing gold medals and university ranks from Osmania University. Each and every faculty member interacts well with students and motivates them to pursue higher education. Faculty members identify the learners’ needs through assessment tests and interaction. Steps are taken to explore the hidden talent and originality among students. The department encourages student projects, arranges guest lectures by eminent professors and scientists from national laboratories, and also organizes field trips on a regular basis.

The Department of Sanskrit has celebrated “Sanskrit Day” on 17.8.2024. Prof. S.Pardasaradhi , Department of Business Management, Dean in Reasearch, St Pious was invited as guest speaker. By celebrating Sanskrit Day, we aim to recognize the language's importance, promote its learning and appreciation, and preserve India's cultural heritage. Enhanced recognition of Sanskrit's importance in Indian heritage and culture. Sloka recitation & Essay Writing competitions were conducted. Students played skits, classical dances & Classical Singing.
The Sanskrit department implemented a Community Development Programme on 12 September 2024. To educate the community people & to give awareness about the Govt. Apps. Students performed classical dance, singing and staged a Mahabharata- on the theme “Dharma Sthapana” skit, to raise awareness on women's empowerment, promote the 112 Govt. Emergency App, and inspire community action to protect the girl child. 29 students participated enthusiastically in the programme.
The Department of Second Languages organized an Extension Programme on ‘ Empowerment Through Educatio” at Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Socity School & College, ( TGMREIS) on 24th February 2025. Shivani from III BBA & Vaishnavi Komal from II B.COM (BA) presented power point presentation on ‘Wellness Warriors - Menstrual health and hygiene’.
