An enthusiastic, innovative and enterprising Department of Physics was established during the year 1993-1994 with a small strength of 3 students. It grew into a full-fledged department with nearly 270 students studying physics at U.G and P.G level.
In our department, teaching is not only a profession but a passion. It has an outstanding academic track record of securing gold medals and university ranks from Osmania University. Each and every faculty member interacts well with students and motivates them to pursue higher education. Faculty members identify the learners’ needs through assessment tests and interaction. Steps are taken to explore the hidden talent and originality among students. The department encourages student projects, arranges guest lectures by eminent professors and scientists from national laboratories, and also organizes field trips on a regular basis.
