Our Objectives
- To promote inclusivity and equal opportunities for students belonging to minority communities, ensuring access to academic resources, scholarships and institutional support.
- To create awareness about government and non-government welfare schemes, scholarships and career opportunities available for minority students.
- To provide a supportive environment for academic and personal development through mentoring, counselling and guidance to help minority students succeed in their education.

MINORITY CELL REPORT 2026–27
The Minority Cell of St. Pious X Degree & PG College for Women (Autonomous), Hyderabad, actively encouraged student participation in academic and co-curricular activities during the academic year 2026–27.
On 18th July 2026, nine students participated in a one-day National Seminar titled “The Holistic Self in an Era of AI: Exploration of Human Values, Ethics and Future Skills”, organised by the Minorities Cell, Osmania University, Hyderabad, in association with various research centres and cells of the university.
The seminar featured various competitions, including Poster Making, Quiz and Just A Minute (JAM) sessions, focusing on human values, ethics and future skills in the era of Artificial Intelligence.
Student Achievement
Our students actively participated in these activities, and G. Joanna Grace secured Second Prize in the Poster Making Competition, bringing recognition to the institution.Key Highlights
